Terms of Use

The rules for using MedhaKit, how payment and renewal work, and where liability sits.

Last updated: 22 September 2026

These terms apply when you use the MedhaKit website, the management software or the website service. Where your institution has a separate written service agreement with us and the two differ, that agreement takes precedence.

1.Accounts and responsibility

Giving accurate information when opening an account is the institution's responsibility. Keeping login details private, and deciding which staff member can see what, is the institution's call. Whatever is done from an account is the institution's responsibility — so rather than sharing logins, open a separate account for each person; teacher and staff accounts are unlimited on every plan.

2.Subscription, price and payment

Subscriptions run monthly or yearly, with 20% off for yearly. The price follows your student-count band; the features are the same on every plan. Payment is by bKash, Nagad or bank transfer, and every payment gets an invoice. If student numbers grow into the next band, the price is adjusted at the next renewal.

3.7-day money-back

If you are not satisfied within 7 days of the subscription starting, you can request a refund. The request must reach us through the contact channels below within that window. The refund process is set out in the service agreement.

4.How it may not be used

The software is for running your own institution. Reselling or renting it to another institution, copying or attempting to reverse-engineer the code, attempting unauthorised access, or using it for anything unlawful or harmful to others all breach these terms and are grounds for closing the account.

5.Your data, your ownership

Everything your institution enters into the software belongs entirely to your institution. We store and process it only in order to provide the service. If you decide to end the service, you can request a copy of your data before it ends — how and in what format is set out in the service agreement. The software's own code, design and brand remain MedhaKit's property, and the right to use them lasts as long as the subscription.

6.Service, support and maintenance

While a subscription is active you get 24/7 technical support and automatic daily backups. New features and improvements land in your existing plan at no extra cost. Service may be briefly unavailable for maintenance; where that is planned, we give notice first. Any specific uptime commitment, where one applies, is set out in a separate service agreement.

7.Third-party services

Some features depend on third parties and carry those parties' own terms. For SMS you connect your own BulkSMSBD account — delivery, rates and billing depend on that account and the operators, not on us. Payments are subject to the rules of bKash, Nagad or your bank. Domains are subject to the registering authority's rules (for example BTCL).

8.About the website service

The website service is separate and billed separately — a one-off setup fee, plus hosting and domain by term. If you have a management software subscription, hosting is already covered by it. Even when you take a domain through us, it is registered in your institution's own name, so ownership stays with you and nothing stops you moving it later. Responsibility for the text and images published on the site rests with the institution.

9.Ending the service

An institution may stop renewing at any time; service continues until the current term ends. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, unpaid dues or legal reasons — with notice beforehand, except in an urgent security situation.

10.Limits of liability

We work to keep the service running and secure, but we are not responsible for failures of internet connectivity, mobile operators, payment channels or other third parties. Losses arising from the institution's own incorrect data, leaked login details or the actions of its authorised users are the institution's responsibility. In any event our financial liability is limited to the subscription fees that institution paid for the period concerned.

11.Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated when needed; the date above changes when they are, and active institutions are told of any significant change. These terms are interpreted and applied under the laws of Bangladesh.
