No. All thirteen pages are built in advance. You go into the editor and put in your text and photographs, choose the colours and arrange the sections — all through buttons and forms. There is no code to write.

Can I make changes myself after it goes live?

Yes, as often as you like. To change something on the published site, open the editor, make the change and publish again — you don't need to ask us.

What if I don't have a domain?

You can take one through us. It will be registered in your institution's own name (BTCL), so ownership stays entirely with you.

Can I take the website without the management software?

Yes. The website service can be taken on its own. That said, with the software your notices, teacher list and results appear on the site automatically, and hosting is included in your subscription.

What if I haven't the time to put the content in?

Take the content add-on — you give us the details and photographs and we'll put them into the site for you.

How long does it take to go live?

Setup begins once your payment has been verified and the application approved. Approval is done by hand, so we'll contact you before work starts to settle the domain with you.

How you build the site once you've taken the service

Four steps. We're alongside you for the first three; the last one is entirely yours — and you can change it as often as you like afterwards.

Apply
From the dashboard, pick a domain and a term, add any add-ons you want, and give us your payment details. The whole thing is three screens — about two minutes.

- If not, take one through us

Approval and setup
Once your payment is verified we point the domain at our server, install the SSL certificate, and stand the whole site up — all thirteen pages — in your institution's name.
- The domain is registered in the institution's own name (BTCL)
- SSL certificate and backups are our responsibility
- Your name, address and EIIN come straight from Settings

Make it yours in the editor
This is where the site becomes yours. Every page and section is listed in the rail on the left — click one and its form opens on the right, with a live preview in the middle.
- Put in your text, photographs and logo
- Move sections up and down, or switch them off
- Pick one of five palettes to recolour the whole site
- Preview in both desktop and mobile views

Publish
Press publish and the site goes live for everyone straight away. Until then every change is held as a draft that nobody else can see.

How the bill is put together

Three parts — one of them one-off, the other two by term. The longer the term, the lower the yearly cost.

Setup fee

Server, SSL certificate, backups and regular maintenance. If you have a management software subscription, hosting is already included in it.

Nothing to pay if you already own a domain — we'll just point it at our server. If you don't, you can take one through us.
